Ahama g8 starter/generateer will not turn over

My GE Clock is from the Mid 1970s and still going strong.

May have to have anti-theft system programmed , the key . Do you have AAA ? They have mobile lock smith that can program it . When you turn the key to start does the starter engage an spin the engine or nothing happens ? Anti-theft will disable the fuel injectors , don't think it disables the starter . You didn't bend any terminals on the ECM ?

Pull the switch that turns your light on to your driver seat. I got a g8 to and it took me a while to figure it out.

I tried to pull up schematics from Autozone... but your car is not supported Looking for common coil (or coils) fuse(s).

check for good connections from ignition switch to starter solenoid needs full power when hot

check what code you have,get scanner,

Can you be more specific than just starter problems?

Sounds like a defective starter. The small gear that jumps out of the starter is not retracting back like it should.

there should be a tab on the side of the key, use a flat screw driver and twist it to seperate the **** shell case
