I've asked this problem 3 times today with no response!flip 3 shuts off without warning. Tried reset procedure repeatedly. Do I send it to you or take it to the store?

The Unlock code is the one that you or the previous owner put on it. There is no way to know what code you put on it.

The only way to fix this is to do a Factory Reset and scrub it clean of all data and reload the operating system clean with no lock code.

There is a problem with the electronic throttle control. Check to see if you have any stored DTC's in the computer, using a scan tool. It may be a glitch and needs to be reset. To reset the system and trigger the throttle calibration program
1) Insert ignition key and turn to "ON" (not start).

Check you power settings. It is possible that it is set to shut down at 50% battery power.

I've tried to send you a message 3 times so far today - not sure if this helps but a tech site suggested that the max capacity tested for the HP 318 was 16 MB - my card that I tried today was 8 gigabytes ..

Strange because I have the same issue, and I've had this printer for over 3 years but the problem just started about a month ago.
I reset the printer by: 1) Unplug power to the printer 2) Hold #6 on the keyboard 3) Plug power cord back in while holding #6 Eventually (10 seconds?) the printer will shut down. Once it does, release #6 and power up the printer again.
Warning: This reset all the configuration settings.
This works for me, but there is still an issue because I have to repeat this every time I turn off/on the printer.
