My Celebrity Pride X Sport was fine 30 mins later it showed a Speed POT fault. Charged batteries overnight pressed the reset and all fixed!!!!!

hi Nico, first of all let's check those brushes, at worse it 's the controller as i see that before...

Have you check the wiring from the throttle pot to the controller ?

One last thing , the speed pot,,short the two white wires ? and see if there is a improvement as it very hard to sometimes to find a faulty pot purely by taking resistance readings,..

The speed pot is the knob you use to go from turtle to rabbit. You can go to the website of the manufacturer to get a service manual

Have you checked the speed pot is not turned down too low?
No flash / beep codes.
I would check motor connector on drive unit, motor brushes.

Hi , the controller could be at fault but firstly you make sure the connections are good by refitting them making sure they are a good fit , look for discolouration, disconnect the motor and brake and check resistances (smart meter etc), the motor should read around 0.4 ohms, the brake from 30 to 60 ohms...

Usually turning the key off and removing it then re inserting the key and turning it back on without touching the paddle levers. If that doesn't fix it then the speed pot will need to be replaced.

Try pressing the white reset button between your heels

It could also be the speed pot or a battery low voltage cut out indicating failing batteries.

Let me take a shot at this, batteries are fully charged ,and it wont move at all in the slow settings.I would check for looseness in your throttle ,make sure its responding correctly when you want to go forward and reverse .second i would check your speed knob make sure its not loss or coming off, i have dealt with many problems like this one in the past and the knob was just lose and needed tighten ,and if everything checks out you are more likely dealing with a bad speed pot,which would be that knob you turn your speed up with.that would cause you not to move in your slow settings.

My Own Pot Packed up after 11 Months, Try to get a Second hand one as they are Expensive to buy,
