SanDisk 2GB Cruzer micro - worked fine yesterday, plugged it in to the same computer this morning, the light flashed on then went off; computer does not see the divice; I have pulled and tried in other USB slots with the same result; any chance of getting it to work again?

SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro USB I/O device error

I would recommend plugging your Cruzer into another computer. It's possible that your computer has corrupted or incorrect drivers for the flash drive. This is one cause of the yellow alert in Device Manager. If you move the flash drive to another machine and it works, you can save your data and make a backup copy. If your Cruzer doesn't work in a different computer (I would try at least 2 other working computers), it's possible that the flash drive is faulty.

Sandisk Cruzer 2GB

It looks like it's dead. If you have a warranty or sales receipt, use it and perhaps look at Consumer Reports before buying a new one. Memsticks like the Cruzer are not engineered to be very durable.

Problem with sandisk 2GB Micro USB Flash Drive

Work through My computer once putting the disk in the USB port. It should read "removable device". Click back and forth from c: drive to my computer to make the computer recognize it faster. Let me know what happens.
