SOURCE: PQI 2G Intelligent Stick

First double check the stick for a tab with a picture of a lock on it, if that is there then switch it to the other position, if your drive lacks the switch then connect the drive. Go to my computer, right click the drive, click properties and search the taps for write protection and disable it(im sorry but i forget what tap it is under) hope that will help you out some but let me know if neither of those help

This flash drive has a safety button located directly on it. PLEASE SWITCH THE BUTTON OVER, it will be easy to switch with the use of a nail on your finger. Once this is done, you will have access to the data on the flashjet card again. This is actually a safety feature that prevents you from accidently formatting the jetflash flash card. some file may be protected one. unprotect them
dele files one by one
go to properties by right click
then tools then error checking then click chek now
after checking errors
try to format it

Look for a write protect tab on the end or side of the flash drive. Some have them, some don't.

The manufacturer should allow you to download the software (Is this a Cruzer?) that originally allowed you to protect it, then you may be able to unprotect it.

Try to look for a small tab on your usb flash drive that can be adjusted up or down. If it is lowered, pull the tab up to unprotect it; or vice versa.

When try format my pen drive it shown below error

some have a little slide switch on them which you move to unprotect it.... also consider going to the transcend website to see if they have a special software tool to format the drive

It would depend on your Operating System. If you are using Windows 98 you'll need the drivers from your CD or from Apacer's website. The CD also has tools to perform various functions which might include protecting and unprotecting your flash disk.
