Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

My Samsung PS50A410 plasma TV has developed two vertical lines down the right side, one at 60 mm and the other at 350mm. Both are approx. 20mm wide with an indistinct picture behind.

vertical lines as apposed to horizontal indicate bad lowerr connections in the ribbon cables inside the TV at the bottom sometimes they can be fixed but most times your panel is failed

Samsung TSL2793HF - Slight Right Side Pincushion and Horz Line Bottom to Top Until the TV Warms up

Yes, this is rare but I have seen it before--not fixable if it is what I think it is----It is what is called a Dome effect---the shadow mask in the picture tube is actually contracting and or expanding depending on temperature---

Directly behind the phosphor coating (the stripes that you see on the screen) is a metal screen--the holes or perforations in it line up with the stripes on the phosphor screen.

Some masks either have a material or a defect causing the dome effect----Not likely to be anything else---a Pin amp problem will not usually act the way you describe but a shadow mask inside the picture tube will act exactly that way.

Samsung SPP4251AX/XXA Is it fixable if so how?

In order to ensure this is not caused by the input device, try changing it to a DVD player and see. Also look for any loose contacts in RC jack, cable and connectors. If problem persists, call in a qualified service technician.

I have BPL 21 Studioline 1000W, problem is suddenly the picture is becoming a thin Horizontal line at center, sound is perfect, when i beat with hand behind the TV picture is back to normal state, picture...

The best way to check for loose connections is to tap lightly when the set is powered on , If there is change while tapping then it seems that there are DRY solder joints. Remove main plug, the covers - with caution of high voltage, check for dry joints, use a good soldering iron to solder all suspected points.

The fault is the FAILURE OF THE SOLDER IN THE VERTICAL IC OF THE TV.

Sometimes the fault occurs when the set warms up, if so you can simulate the heat using a hair dryer on the suspected areas, try with the power supply, distribution, Processor controller, driver controllers on the A/V related sections. Also the use a FREEZE-IT spray can simulate the components to cool and show up the fault.

Based on the above method you must be able to locate the area of fault and solder the sections. Sometimes large IC's- ones with more pins- tend to have drying in some pins and so cause faults related to the IC's protocol. Have a rough idea of looking into the areas to reduce the time of probing.

Orion standard tv

Have you had any kind of magnets close to the tv set? I had a brand new sanyo do the same thing. I had pulled the speaker box out of my truck and stood it up next to the tv (not thinking about where I put it). Turned it on a few hours later only to see a messed up picture. I moved the speaker box to get behind the tv and the picture got better. Moved the speaker box back to the truck and after a couple of days the picture was back to normal. These were 4 large magnets on these speakers. Maybe I helped some!
