My vision quest tv turns on but its just a black screen

First check the power supply of your TV,multimeter the export voltage of power supply.if it is defective you can replace it.
if not you need check main boards,and inverter boards
From Wisiny.com can find those parts,power supply,inverter boards and t-con

1. check if cables connected to the correct ports.
2. do you have a pvr or are you directly connected to wall cable.
A little more on what you have tried so far. Sound?

I have a Vision Quest 32inch PVQ-32VGB and the some of the channels have locked and the factory password of 0000 does not work any suggestions? thanks

The Innovage Jumbo remote control manual does not list any TV's by the manufacturer Vision Quest, but that does not mean your TV is not compatible with another brand's control codes. I recommend using the auto-search function to see if any of the remote's TV codes work with your set.

To have the remote try each TV code it knows one at a time, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your TV.
2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button for at least 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and stays lit.
3. Press the TV button on the remote so that the LED blinks once and then remains solid red.
4. Press the ON/OFF button slowly and repeatedly until the TV turns off. The LED will blink once each time you press the ON/OFF button.
   
5. Once the TV turns off, press the ENTER button to store the code and the LED will turn off.

10030 worked for us - a NEC code

According to my information this TV does not have any published universal codes as of yet. A call to the manufacturer results in:

" Just use the remote that came with the TV...it's too new to have the codes yet"

Not very helpful are they? IT's a nice Tv for the $$..guess customer support is sacrificed when we try to save some $$.
