I can't use the printer as a copier. It keeps say

Gladi719 - The printer can't print unless the cartridges are aligned, so it won't be able to copy, either (Copy is just a scan and print together). Press enter and see if it can align the cartridges. If not, you may have a bad cartridge.

Once the alignment is successful, you should be able to just push Copy and it should copy again.

My HP officejet 6110 all-in-one will not print. It keeps saying to align cartriges which i've done several times.
If you do a test print and any color is missing it won't pass alignment and keep giving the error. If you're happy with the printing, when it says press enter to align, press and hold the enter button and press the menu button. The error will go away and let you print.

Yes but after align test page have you put on scanner glass and press the scan button to finish the align process. It is necessary to after aligning the page it need to scan with the scanner. Otherwise it keeps pop up.

You press Enter , but the error message does not go away ? You have to bypass the cartridge alignment -
  1. Press and hold the Setup button.
  2. Press the Options button. The printer should be ready to print.

Changed the cartridge, Printer says "alignment cancelled"
Try doing the whole process over. Reinstall the old empty cartriage, Get the empty messsage then change it again with the new one.

Printer cartridge alignment
You can also bypass the alignment. When the message for alignment displays on the display => Press Setup and Options (or Copy Options ) simaltanious.The last known alignment is used when the alignment is bypassed.
