Heaters fires, stays on for 10 seconds, then burner turns off

My h100idp1 will turn on, fire, stay on for 10 seconds, then the burner goes off but the fan keeps running. It stayed on once for about 15 minutes then shut off again. Now it will not stay firing. Worked for 2 years ok until now.

Just had the same experience.
1. Pull the top cover off and try gently wiggling the printed circuit board on the right side top. Pull the thermostat mounting board too if it helps. Be careful as it is still live as you are doing this. If it fires, unplug it & remove the board from the unit. Get a magnifying glass and a good light and go over the solder connections on the back of the board, ALL of my connections where the harness plugs into the board were cracked. Best as I can figure, the board is mounted right next to the power vented flue discharge and it is extremely hot there and must expand & contract with heat especially if wind is blowing the heat back onto the unit. Re-solder connections & mount the board somewhere else in the unit.
2. The igniter assembly acts as a thermocouple, which is to say it "proves" the flame to the unit telling the gas valve to stay open and the spark to shut off as long as the thermostat wants the unit to run. That component may have failed & requires replacement.
3. The flow switch (Pressure sensor) proves water flow to the unit saying it is ok to fire. I've replaced mine twice due to them busting open, but that can also hold out the unit if it doesn't sense flow, however but I doubt that is the culprit. It is easy to test, just make sure the pump is on, jump the wires & turn on the unit. MAKE SURE to put them back on after testing as the water will boil very rapidly if the unit runs with no flow which is extremely dangerous.

I would check these components in that order.

Need to light pilot light

You need to turn the knob on the gas valve (inside the heater) to the "pilot" position. Then, while holding a flame over the pilot assembly push down on the knob.

Gas should come out of the pilot and ignite. Continue holding the knob down for 10-15 seconds. Release the knob and the pilot should stay lit. If not the pilot generator may need to be replaced.

Turn the knob to the "on" position, close the heater and turn the heater on and turn the thermostat to hot. The heater should fire. If it does not fire and the pilot goes out, that may also indicate a pilot generator problem.

Jandy lite 2 pool heater will not stay lit.

I'm having the same issue as the above user with Jandy Lite 2 (which from what I can tell stands for the number of times that you can get this POS to work annually)!
The unit LIGHTS OFF, but WON'T STAY LIT! Igniter engages, gas valve opens, unit lights, burns for 10 seconds, and flames out. Error code FL 2, after third attempt, already replaced the flame sensor....

GX90-715A wont stay fired

1) Product manual has burner info page 11, maintenance 12, and troubleshoot flow charts starting page 17
Otherwise, Rheem does not post service manuals.

3) Is air intake clear? Is the burner sooted? Is the flame large and clear blue? Is the vent obstructed? Does air draft when blower activates?

Having a problem with a goodman gas furnace, pilot starts and burners fire up, blower starts and burner goes out after like 5-10 seconds. Blower continues to run but only circulates cold air. burner does...

Sounds like the rollout is being tripped from the blower moving the falmes. i would have your heat exchanger checked for cracks or holes as this is usually the reason the blower moves the burner flames to tripp a rollout.

Heater goes out after 10 to 30 seconds.

sounds like a blocked pilot when you turn on the main gas takes the gas away from the pilot and goes out
