How do I do a waste ink bypass to recycle ink from waste tank to avoid it getting full again?

I already manually cleaned it once but don't think it will be able to be cleaned a second time!! It's losing absorbancy.

There is a small tube running from the pump to the waste ink pads. If you connect another tube to that, you would be able to run it out to an external bottle. Please note this won't stop the waste ink counter from doing it's thing.

What is error P7 on Canon MP250 printer?

Please refer to this video, to fix it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvBpioLPm3M

Inkjet printers has an "ink absorber" counter in which when it has reached a certain level that error will occur. Because when you are printing, some parts of the ink become waste ink & goes to the internal "tank" inside the printer where they are dried. The ink absorber counter tells you that the "tank" is nearly full which might flood the internal parts of the printer and damage them, causing short circuits.

However, this error could be bypassed by resetting the printer as described on the video.

Another better solution is by installing an external waste ink tank to channel the waste ink outside the printer to avoid internal damage. The P07 error will still occur, however you can bypass it.

IP 6700 d waste absorber nearly full. How do I resolve?

Hi. I think the problem on that one is the waste ink tank is already full, so you need to clean it or replace the pads on it, because when you are printing or opening your printer it blows little amount of ink to the heads so that it will not be clogged, and that ink goes into the used/waste ink tank. Also after cleaning the used/waste ink tank you need to reset the counter of the printer so that it would print again, you can just download the counter reset software2_bing.gif over the internet or just bring that machine to an authorize canon printer technician. Hope this Helps

Tank absorber full and lights blinking

The POWER Lamp Flashes Orange Eight flashes: Waste ink tank almost full
The printer has a built-in waste ink tank for the ink used during print head cleaning. Eight flashes indicates that the waste ink tank is nearly full. Press the RESUME/CANCEL button to cancel the error so you can continue printing. Before the waste ink tank becomes completely full, contact a Canon service representative.

Note
Canon recommends that you call for service as soon as this error occurs. Once the waste ink tank becomes completely full, printing will no longer be possible.

WASTE INK ABSORBA FULL

Inkjet printers have a fibrous pad inside them that collects the waste ink from cleaning the print head. Over time, this pad fills up with ink and can no longer hold any more. When this occurs, the printer indicates a "waste ink tank full" error.

Replacing the waste ink absorption pads is something an authorized canon service facility can take care of for you. Once they are replaced, it'll be functional again.
