I have the exact same problem. Cannon i560 was printing wonderfully until I replaced the yellow cartridge two days ago now the pictures are coming out with a green and yellow tinge to them. I replaced the black cartridge also thinking that may help but all the cartridges are full of ink and not printing a nice picture anymore. Any ideas how to solve this?

I am having the same problem....except all of my pictures are printing out with a blue hue! I changed the ink cartriges to Canon ones with no avail. Up until a few weeks ago, things were printing out well!

I recently changed my ink cartridges. Yet, my copies are coming out with vertical lines of no print and the colors are off. My printer was printing fine - though it has done this before.

Recheck the placement of the ink cartridges. The black ink cartridge is larger; the cyan, magenta, yellow cartridges are all the same size.

When the ink cartridges were replaced, two or more may have been inadvertently switched or an extra yellow cartridge placed in.

Canon i560s prints all colors except black

I had a similar problem and found out that you have to specify printing on plain paper. If you choose paper other than plain paper, it will make the black from other colors. Check also that all of your cartridges are seated properly. My magenta was not pushed all the way down so I got green instead of black ink when it mixed the colors to make black.

Canon iP6700D printer

Browns printing pink suggest the blue/yellow jets are clogged or not functioning. If the uses head in cartridge type[that is with a sheet of contacts on the front of the cartridge- then take then out ,damp a tissue in some warm water an place on a plate or similar - then stand the cartriges in the damp tissue until the tissue turns colour - then replace the cartrdge. If it is head in the printer Then take a look here www,fixyourownprinter.com

Can I go to grayscale all the time?

Usually 'black' or greyscale uses all colours to get a true black in many printers. Check you particular printer manual and soft ware to see if it allows for black/grey only. You could experiment [I don't know this particular printer] by putting black carts in all slots [If it is a chipped cart you may have to consider swapping the chips on the carts if removable. Some specialist ink firms[Lycos] do supply monochrome sets for certain printers - check them out. Also take a look at www.fixyourownprinter.com
