How can i get my new remote control to work for my curtis t.v.?

To buy a new remote control, you must first find out which brand remote control have setup codes to Curtis brand TVs. After that, buy one remote control according to availability. The code in sistruction book is 007F
and it will not work !

I own a One-for-All universal remote, and my booklet says the setup code for a Curtis Mathes TV (without a built-in DVD or VCR) is one of the following numbers: 0030, 0047, 0054, 0060, 0093, 0145, 0154, 0166, 0451, 0702. I can not guarantee these numbers will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.

We also bought a universal remote to program a Curtis Mathis TV. We found the code by using the code search method. It works everything but the channel program feature. Does anyone know how to access that? BTW the remote is a GE 24921. Thanks
