Hold the volume UP botton down when it is OFF, then while holding that button down press and hold the power on button and keep both pressed for about 10 seconds. Then release.
If a little lamp is lit when you plug in the charger (indicating that the device is charging), then try holding the power button down longer until something appears on the screen. If no lamp is lighting when you plug in the charger then there is something else wrong. Check it is the right power supply for the device and that you are plugging into the correct hole of the device (not the earphone connector). It also may be the charger itself is not working.
Are you actually turning the tablet off when you are not using it? (Hold down power button until Power Off box appears on screen)? If not, your tablet is constantly using power even with the screen blanked and will drain the battery. You could have a bad battery that is no longer holding its charge. How long can you run the device off the charger continuously? That length of time might indicate the state of the battery. Check the manual for expected battery life, which for a Linx 7 is usually 4 hours or less.
Seems to be a common problem.
You are on the right track with holding down power button.
1. Hold down for 20 secs, Wait 5secs, hold down for up to 10 secs, it may turn on before then.
2. Does the screen have a dim glow, even though there is nothing on it?
Let it discharge itself so the glow is gone, may take some hours.
Plug it into charge for at least 30 mins.
Try to turn it on.

have you tried turning off tablet with charger plugged in and letting it charge up. You should see a battery symbol come onto the screen with a pulsing level indicating the battery is being charged. hold in power till unit turns off then plug in charger cable into tablet and switch on charger at power point . Do not try and push power switch to power up tablet see if screen indicates charging is occurring. I have experienced this exact problem on a samsung tablet !
It sounds like that memory should be compatible with your tablet PC. It may be a bad memory stick -- try to replace it with a different memory stick (preferably from a different manufacturer) and see if it still gives you the same problem.
If you didn't have this problem before you installed the new memory, a different memory stick will likely correct the issue. You can also try removing the new memory and see if the PC boots up like it should.
please follow the following instructions i hope this helps
Disconnect all peripheral devices and remove all USB devices and media cards. You want to test the computer not the accessories!
Disconnect the AC power adapter, remove the battery, and then press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds .
Reconnect the AC power adapter (but do not connect the battery), Press the Power button, Look for glowing LEDs near caps lock and num lock keys, and Listen for sounds of a disk drive and fan turning
