Question about Archos 7 Home Tablet Tablet Android 8 GB 7 TFT

I am looking for a manual for this tablet that I have recently purchased. My knowledge of the tablet functions is very limited, and the small little booklet is not much help. Thank you.

Ok I have included th elink to the less than stellar user manual. What you need to do is...

bring up all apps
tap on settings
ensure wifi is on (it is a little slide switch)
go to wifi
select an AP
enter password or security code as required.
You should now be connected

Why would I buy this Tablet? (Fujitsu Stylistic LT C-500)

You may be wondering what an antiquated piece of computer's history could do for you, now in the year 2009. The answer may surprise you. This tablet has (when properly fitted) enough power and spirit to run XP, as a matter of fact it runs XP better than the included Windows 2000, or Windows 98SE. The thing makes this device a real possibility is the fact that it's so cheap! You can easily purchase one of these tablets for under $200 on ebay, fully ready to go with Windows 2000. Now... with Windows 2000 your options of what do use this for are a little more limited. The size and power of this device make it a perfect in car and on the go PC. Add a GPS USB dongle (about $40) and Streets and Trips (about $30-$40) and you've got yourself a turn by turn navigation pc. Have alot of .mp3's? Get a FM transmitter (about $20) and you've got music in your car that you control, and it's even cheaper than an iPod. Want to watch movies on the go? Grab a slimline DVD-ROM (about $50) and hook it up to your USB port, or just get a thumb-drive (about $10) and grab those .avi's off of your PC at home. If you've got a little know how you can upgrade the puny 6gb hard drive for something with a little more space, like say 40-80gb (about $40). While your pulling it out why not upgrade to XP... and truly unlock this little tablet's potential. XP allows quicker access to USB devices, more stable program performance, and better tools for your touchscreen experience. XP install is a minor pain in the rear... but worth it in the end. To ensure the best experience upgrade your RAM to the maximum of 256mb (about $20). If your looking for something cheap, reliable, and small enough to fit in your active life, look no farther than the Fujitsu Stylistic LT c-500.

I recently bought a tablet, the cover I bought for it has a magnetic closure, could the magnets harm the tablet in any way. Thank you

The cover you bought has very little chance of damaging your tablet unless it has sharp edges that would scratch the finish.
Most tablets use solid state drives to store the information, so magnets do not pose a threat to their functioning.

Magnets can even be used in close proximity to drives that use magnetic medium (like every disk drive from ten years ago) without much chance of damage. In fact, those drives have what are probably the strongest magnets you would have in your house INSIDE THEIR CASES, but it does not harm them.

Have no fear.

I have purchased a HANNspree SN14T71 13.3 tablet can I use a 64gb micro SD card in it

Guess you should be able to. It might tell you in the user manual what the upper limit is if it has one, which will let you know if you can use all the 64gb in the card or not

Not coming on

Is the charging component something that has been plugged into unit while you are using it? I ask this only because a lot of times what will happen is the connection walls inside the unit to be charged will become "not snug" or stretched if you will. Making it difficult for both the positive and the negative aspects of the charger to do it's thing. No connection = No Function. Basically ask yourself if you are using the unit and moving it around quite a bit while it's charging, AND did it just recently get tangled up or drastically tugged out in an usual or accidental manner. Worth looking at.
Hope This made sense and helped a little.

Lenovo X61 Tablet pen not functioning

Same here this sounds weird but you have to hit the screen with the pen.. in the long run it probably hurts the pc, but it fixes the problem.

it might seem that the other user has a limited account and maybe the driver of the pen function is limited only to the administrator.
