Battery charging failed,battery charger adopter ok

no real question asked. no context for sure. if the PC fails to charge the battery is bad 99% of time. if the PC run perfect on AC pack with not battery present, the battery is bad. if batter fails to run the PC with NO AC power. always have 2 batteries, they fail easy if you must have batteries, have 2. some folks just run on AC all the time. learn that the charger is not genius level. it will be fooled by a bad battery so very easy. some batteries seem ok but have 1/10 left capacity the charger does no understand that. and acts odd.

The portable charger should NOTE be connected to a battery while the battery is connected to a vehicle! Charge the battery off the car, then disconnect the charger and put the battery into the vehicle to start it! If the charger is not working check the fuse! If that is ok then probably damaged the circuitry!

It might be easier to carry a spare battery. I am not familiar with your unit. I do not understand how a jump start would work without an external power source.

Is it a replacement battery ,you purchased, with the EXACT same specs? Some aftermarket inexpensive batteries do not work well with your laptop. How do you know it's not charging, by the Icon in the Tray Notification Area? Again sometimes aftermarket batteries don't have the ability to communicate with the software. The pin-outs are not the same.

Smart chargers will fail to charge completely discharged battery. Simple charger w/o electronics will. Try connecting two batteries together with charger. ALL in parallel. + to +, and - to -.

Try removing the battery and then starting the computer with the power cord. Sometimes the battery is bad and prevents the computer from working properly.

Rechargeable batteries don't last forever. This one may have simply stopped working.

However, it is worthwhile checking that the contacts on both battery and charger are clean. Dirt or corrosion can prevent the battery from charging.

There is also the possibility that the charger has failed. You can buy a new battery and try charging it. If it charges, then the charger is good and the old battery was the problem. If it doesn't, then you must get a replacement charger, and you will have a spare battery, which is no bad thing.

Are you sure it is not the charger itself at fault here?

If you have or know someone with a multimeter get them to check if any voltage is present on the charger plug of the cord. Batteries do not suddenly stop they usually give less and less time in uptime mode before they finally stop altogether. I would suspect the charger or charging circuit.yes it can be fixed

disconnect one terminal of the battery then measure charging voltage betwen +ve and -ve it should be 13.8vdc for one 12v battery if charging voltage is not present then battery is ok then connect ammeter to measure the current in Ampere .take care it should be in series if current if no current then battery must ok opern the ups there is a charger transformer measure i/p voltage to transformer if not present then check i/p path if present then check diodes at o/p of charger if faulty replace it also check capacitor and regulator ic if faulty replace it your problem must be solved
