How do I reinstall Best Removal Tool>

Start-->run-->regedit
My computer-->H Key Local Machine-->Software-->microsoft-->windows NT-->Current version-->Winlogon--> Delete the notify key here

Make sure to take backup before removing it

Once the problem is fixed by removing that key, delete the backup also

This is a problem related to a Norton security software that you might have on your computer awhile , so the best way to correct the problem is to download Norton removal tool and then after that run the software and that should do it.

1st: Go to Tools>Folder Options>View>unckeck this items below:
1>display the contets of system folders
2>hide extensions for known file types
3>hide protected operating system files(Recomended)

2nd:check all other options in VIEW

3rd:APPLY>OK.

4th:Download unlocker 1.87 ,install it after that enter any drive (C:\,D:\,........) and delete the recycler folder >then a error message will appar and shows that " can not delete RECYCLER:access is denied." it's in use.>click "OK">after that the "unlocker 1.87" will appears automatically and will give options "noaction","delete","rename","move" at down-left corner and there you can select " delete" optinon by scrolling down and after that you can success fully delete the virus,RECYCLER,from that drive.:D


continue this proccess for all drives where you can see RYCLER folder

Not only Uninstalling & Reinstalling the McAfee Program would help, because usually you'd get this Error During the Installation. The Reason for this Error is because of the Windows Update (McAfee is Disigned on the Windows Platform).

Things that Needs to be checked here are:

1. Update Windows:
- Open IE (Internet Explorer).
- Click on the TOOLS or SAFETY (If the IE version is IE v.8).
- Select Windows Update.
- Ensure that All Windows Updates are Installed on the Computer.


2. Installing MSXML 3 & 4:
- Check if you already have MSXMLs installed on your Computer by going to START >> CONTROL PANEL >> ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS or PROGRAMS >> PROGRAMS & FEATURES (In Case of Windows Vista/7).
- If you find MSXMLs, Uninstall them & then Restart the Computer.
- Download and Reinstall MSXML version 3 (MSXML3.msi only).
- Restart the computer.
- Download and install MSXML version 4 (MSXML.msi only).
- Restart the computer.
- Run McAfee Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR.exe) from http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe
- Reinstall the McAfee Program.

goto Start->Programs->Google Chrome->Uninstall CHrome
(or)
goto Start->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs->google chrome->click remove

After uninstalling it , if u find any other chrome.exe ,simply delete it

I had removed it manually and reinstalled but it obviously didn't delete the registry entries. It's working fine now. Good luck! Hope this helps you too.

Click on start, run and type in %temp% and enter, select all the temporary files that are there and delete, reboot and try again.
