In general, you just need to log in Kindle account on your iPad and your purchased book will be synced automatically. However, if you don't want to log in your account. You can convert the kindle books to epub file and read on iPad directly. Just follow this guide.

You are able to move the books to computer, and then sync ebooks to iPad with iTunes. You will need to download the Kindle app ( from the App Store ) on your iPad or iPhone. You can then access your account on Amazon and probably download whatever you have on the Kindle to those devices. I have it and it works great....never went back to the Fire.
