Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand that your Frigidaire air conditioner is not blowing cool air. There could be many possibilities to why your appliance is not cooling properly.

· Check to make sure the air vent is not in the open position.

· Make sure there is nothing blocking the airflow of the appliance.

· If your appliance is turned on in a hot room it could take additional time to remove "stored heat" from walls, ceilings, floors, and furniture.
Is your appliance under warranty? If so, you might want to reach out directly to the manufacturer to determine the coverage on your air conditioner and the procedures to any potential remedy. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

SOURCE: blowing out warm air

This could be a refrigerant leak. Before you call out a service technician, clean the filters and then try to see if it works. If it doesn't then get the unit serviced.
Hope this helps

Why is my portable air conditioner blowing out room temperature air?

Make sure the filter(s) have been cleaned (Washed) and that the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. If the room temp is the same as the setting on the air con, it wont cool or heat. Just the fan will be operating.

Ac unit keeps tripping the reset button

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# LRA074AT7, which keeps tripping the reset button. I see that it will start up and then trips the reset button after a minute or two. First, be sure the electrical service is adequate for the model you have chosen. This information can be found on the serial plate, which is located on the side of the cabinet and behind the grille. Secondly, be sure the air conditioner is properly grounded. To minimize shock and fire hazards, proper grounding is important. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock hazards. Lastly, your air conditioner must be used in a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a qualified electrician install the proper receptacle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

My frigidaire air conditioner LRA067AT7 won't cool

The thermostat isn't turning on the compressor. Check it out first. If it seems ok then check the wires going to the compressor. One of the 2 places will be the trouble .

The problem could be dirty filters, dirty coil, refrigerant charge low, etc. Since it is only a month old I would try to return it if possible.

Window AC takes spells on cooling?

One thing to check is to make sure the evaporator and condenser coils are clean. Any dirt here will short ccle the compressor.

Blowing hot air

Water in the pan is normal, this is the humidity removed from your space. Pan must be emptied regularly. If the unit shuts down after 15 minutes, you may have a blocked hot air duct. Make sure it is flowing freely. This includes makeup air from outside the room to replace that blown outside by the AC.
