Good Afternoon Friend, I understand that your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FRA124HT2, begins with a constant beeping, and changes the modes itself, about every 30 minutes. I also see that it ends up on a different setting each time it does this. I suggest resetting your air conditioning, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. Bring power back to it and turn it on. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

Thank you for your post, John!

Based off the information you have provided you need the code for a universal air conditioner remote. You may need to speak with manufacturer of the remote for that direct code. Best of luck! -Matt

Could have clipped the low voltage wire outside with a weed wacker, could have blown out the run capacitor or lost a major component! If the unit is buzzing when you turn it on but nothing's running (compressor or fan)then you have a failed run capacitor! The list of things it could be are endless without more info

Leave it alone. DO NOT attempt to create a drain. As long as a window A/C unit is installed properly, (angled slightly down toward the rear) it will drain excess water over the rear lower lip of the unit should it get that high. Many models use some of the collected water/condensation. It gets lifted up by the fan blades to cool the coil.

I think it's a 12,000 BTU.
nice direct say on it. I have this model number in my house.
If memory serves correctly it was 12000BTU on the box when i bought it.
I have it out in my garage, it still works after all these years..drips INSIDE the window now because the waterways under the unit were poorly engineered.. hard to access and too small, such that they CONSTANTLY getting plugged up like a dam, causing the tray to spill into the inside coming out the front of the unit.

Hello E, I appreciate your post! I see that your Frigidaire air conditioner is displaying an error code of "H1". I have reviewed the air conditioner and the "H1" error code could be an "HI". The "HI" error code means that the room temperature is above the display range. I would recommend performing a reset on your air conditioner. In order to reset the air conditioner you need to unplug the power cord you can press the reset button and then the test button that should restart your air conditioner. If that does correct your issue I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful for you. -Matt

Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand that you are getting an "EC" error code on your Frigidaire air conditioner. However, it appears "EC" is an invalid error code. It is possible that the error code is missing characters? I show that the error code "ES" or "CS" is valid. In the meantime, I suggest resetting your air conditioner. You can do this by flipping the household circuit breaker for roughly ten minutes. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please inform me of the new error code or if your air conditioner continues to display "EC". I look forward to assisting you. -Matt

Are you sure you don't have a Heat Pump Condenser? You don't list the outdoor unit M#? If it is a Heat Pump system the outdoor unit has to run. Here is the link to the indoor unit.
