Ac unit keeps tripping the reset button

I understand your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# LRA074AT7, which keeps tripping the reset button. I see that it will start up and then trips the reset button after a minute or two. First, be sure the electrical service is adequate for the model you have chosen. This information can be found on the serial plate, which is located on the side of the cabinet and behind the grille. Secondly, be sure the air conditioner is properly grounded. To minimize shock and fire hazards, proper grounding is important. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock hazards. Lastly, your air conditioner must be used in a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a qualified electrician install the proper receptacle. Window ac/heater freezes up when using the heater?

Can't change temperature on AC
thats normal its showing ambient when you lower it the number will change to the setting and then will go back to show what the ambient temp as the room gets cooler the temp number will go down and shut off at set temp
