GE dishwasher model number GHDA480N10WW doesn't fill with water.

check the float switch usually located in the front right of the dishwasher it should move up and down freely sometimes crud will get under the float and hold it up so the dishwasher thinks its already full.

My ge dishwasher will not fill with water when started

You need a voltmeter to test the water solenoid valve. If the valve is getting power, but does not fill the unit with water, then replace the valve

I have a GE GSD2230Z00WW dishwasher water will not fill on start no power on the fill valve either. Water will come on quick wash cycle and rinse.

Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side), in which case replace the water valve.

***If everything checks out ok with the water inlet valve, replace the timer or control board.

GE Dishwasher fills with water but does not "spray water" on dish

Here are a few things that might help you out, first is you could have a bad heating element in your dish washer, when it fills with water it has to reach a certain temperature before continuing to the next cycle, next thing is you could have a bad thermostat, or your timer is defective.

Dishwasher conitues to fill even if unplugged

If the dishwasher is filling with out the power on, you have a defective inlet water valve. If it's new, have them repair it under your warranty. If not the part number is wd15x10003. Easy fix, on the left side behind the toe panel...Catriver...post back.
