Yes it is.. But make sure the video is in any 1 of these formats -

  • .MOV
  • .MPEG4
  • MP4
  • .AVI
  • .WMV
  • .MPEGPS
  • .FLV
  • 3GPP
  • WebM
After recording just connect the device to your computer and transfer the video. If your video is not in 1 of these formats then you can easily convert it online here (http://video.online-convert.com/). All you need is a free account on their site and you can convert it. If your video is already in any 1 of the above mentioned formats then no worries:) Enjoy

How do I make a YouTube account. Want to put a video of me singing

Easiest way is to make a gmail account or google account
Once you created one, log into youtube, using your gmail\google account.
Nest thing ,is, do you have a good working mic\camera?
You may want to download the manufacturer software for your mic\camera and run it to confirm you are able to record and hear yourself.
Alot of the latest hardware out there now have software that have video and image taking , then you can save and upload through youtube.

I have a cheap Samson microphone (package said designed for karaoke, not professional). It says R10S on it. It just plugs into the mic jack on the side of the laptop. I want to use it for online...

You can't record two audio sources at the same time without a high end soundcard, your computer will automatically switch to the mic input when you plug it in. The best way to do what you want is to use a program like SoundForge to record the music first, then record your voice while listening with headphones. Then you can export both tracks to an mp3 or whatever format you need. Or, you could possibly record the music, put it on an mp3 player, and play it over a stereo system while you sing along, and record the whole thing at the same time to your computer.

I just received a GPX JM250S Karaoke Party Machine. I have not tried a actual Karaoke CD yet. I plugged ipod in. Problem is- music is playing, then when I speak into mic music stops playing. There is no...

The music to sing along with apparently MUST come from a disk played on the unit. It appears that the external audio jacks are just to use the unit as either a boombox or to drive a larger sound system. You will have to convert your IPOD music into a Karaoke compatible CD to be able to sing along with it... They probably detect MIC input and mute any incoming signals from the RCA jack inputs,

I hear a "pop" from the microphone when singing. What causes this?

very common problem caused by pressure waves, try singing off mic but on axis so maybe a 6inches away.
or buy a pop shield (transparent audio foam to cover the mic capsule)

should sort it out, if this does not work then the mic may be damaged.

hope this helps

Doesn't pick-up sound

First I'd check the cable and make sure it's alright. Try another cable you know is good. If it still has low output unfortunately, it's probably the capsule. If the mic is new I'd send it in for warranty repair if not contact samson @ their website for repair info.

I cant hook up mic and guitar same time

get a 1/8" stereo to mono splitter from radio shack or the like. it should have 1 1/8"male end, and two female ends, you could possibly get a 1/8" male with 2 1/4" female connectors, or use an all 1/4 inch adapter, with a 14/ to 1/8 adapter on the male end.

this should divide the guitar and vocals into left and right channels.

Playback only on left speaker

The quick, easy solution is to change your microphone to mono recording. In the attached YouTube clip, I'll show you how to do that.

The short and simple is to go to your Mac HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Audio MIDI Setup. Select your C01U USB device, and set it to 1ch 16bit. This will set the microphone to record in mono, equally over both speakers.
