depends on the unit. you will probably have to slide it out of its case and clean the outside part . there should be a hose that goes from the inside to the outside for the water to go out. this hose may be clogged, trapping the water inside. as i always say a picture of the unit always helps so i can identify it and tell you what to do to try and fix the problem. email the pics to [email protected]

Hi, It opens a flap that allows fresh outside air to come in. The opening it screen covered on most units so no insects get in. To get the most cooling it is best to leave it closed. It should have a drain so that it runs down off the roof instead of into the motorhome. All a/c's have a drain somewhere and they all plug up occasionally. A/C techs always carry coat hangers.
