Touchpad scroll is not working

Have you installed the touchpad drivers and software?
Windows generic drivers, don't install that kind of things.
Go to HP website, download all touchpad drivers and software, and install them.

Toshiba Satellite A355-S6935 touchpad problem

That is normal, because the touchpad requires a driver. Windows 7, fortunately, comes with driver installation through the Windows Update.

Simply launch Windows update (Start Menu> type "Windows Update" > hit 'enter'), and select all the updates and hit update. You could also manually do it, by going to Toshiba's website, finding your computer model in the "support" category, and finding the appropriate touch-pad driver. (I believe it would be called "Synaptic Touchpad Driver").

Good luck!

My touch pad scroll function is not working on my Toshiba satellite M300 laptop

To use scroll function, you have to install the touchpad drivers, which are available from Toshiba Official Support. Click Here to download the required touchpad drivers. Select 'Touchpad' from Category and install Synaptics or Alps Drivers (Depending upon the type of touchpad you have on your system).

Hope it helps! Good Luck!

Touchpad not working

Hi Andy,
I see that your touchpad is not working, do you have a USB mouse to use for the troubleshooting?
  • First we need to check the drivers if your touchpad if it is installed in you windows sometimes driver just get corrupted or uninstalled, go to control panel and look for Device manager this should show you a list of devices for your laptop.
  • Your touchpad Driver should be found under Mice and Other pointing devices.
  • If it is not listed under Mice and Other pointing devices then we will need to install your touchpad driver on you Laptop.
  • Close all the windows that we opened and click on start then Computer or My Computer, the check in the Local C: or D: if you have any folder named drivers that is where you touchpad driver installer should be located if there are none in C: or D: then you will have to download the drive from the manufacturers website of your Laptop.
  • Once you have the Drivers for your Touchpad upon installation if you get an error that the drivers cannot be installed because the device is not found then that means your touchapd is found to be damaged.
  • Contact your Computer manufacturer as well if you still have warranty this should cover the touchpad rapiars.
I Hope I this will be Helpful regarding you concern.
Thanks have a nice day.

My touchpad won't work on a compaq presario CO50, button is on, but on working?

Try a restart if that doesn't work, connect a usb mouse and go to the device manager and see if the drivers for the touchpad are installed.
If they aren't, go to http://www.hp.com and input your model number into the search box, there will be a place to download the touchpad drivers. Install those and your touchpad should be working.
