Try your local community college data processing department. They can probably tell you where to get the software. You might also try some business based web groupds for an answer. Or you could look on eBay for a working replacement which may cheaper and quicker than the other option.

Ok.
I need to know these things:
1. which country is it being used in?
2. Do you want a PIN number to log staff on, or just simple log on?
3. Do you have a row of buttons next to the key called CLERK or CASHIER?
4. Will you be using a bar code scanner?

Hi. This is very serious. It means the register is about to completely clear everything (or may have done so already). If it has been sitting for a long time without power, or new out of the box, then this is normal. We can try to jump it back out of the init mode.
Follow these steps very carefully:
Turn the power off at the wall. Turn the key to PROGRAM mode. Hold RECEIPT FEED button down. Turn power on at wall. When you see the display change to 'FFFFFFFFFF' let go of RECEIPT FEED. Press SUBTOTAL
Turn the key back to REG mode and try it. If you get error 8, then you may need to log a clerk back on.
