Keyboard and mouse not working on my acer azs600-ub34 all in one computer

I take it you have put batteries in both. turn both units on and make sure you have the usb dongle plugged in, the go to control panel, system, device manager, on the toolbar of device manager click on the tabs until you find "scan for hardware changes" and it should find your new devices and install the drivers.

It sounds like there is a problem with the touchscreen. Seems to have a bad spot and thinks it is being touched. In device manager of the control panel, you should be able to disable it under human user device. Double click on that to make sure that is it and select "do not use this device" or "disable" to see if that is the problem. Also, the drivers of the wireless kb and mouse may not be compatible with win8 and interfering with the touch screen.

try resetting the BIOS to defaults. Also, make sure the wireless KB and Mouse works by testing it in another PC. Acer might be aware of this issue, so try calling them if those ideas do not help.

There should be a USB receiver inside the battery compartment of your mouse.
Plug it in to the computer and try using the connect button on the keyboard and mouse.
That should do the trick.

Some Acer computers have the USB transmitter tucked inside the mouse. You pop it out of there and plug it into one of the USB ports on the computer.

to know if your windows keyboard and mouse controller is working try to use first a cabled keyboard and mouse, if you find it working try this steps.

first, try to remove the wireless usb device which your keyboard and mouse is connecting to, try to use another usb port from your computer.

second, your wireless device comes with a cd installer, try to reinstall the program of your wireless device

and then try again

when you start your system , press f1 continously on your keyboard to check ur cmos settings if they are not disable

If you have got a USB receiver for the wireless keyboard and mouse, then the solution might be with the receiver. Normally we know that to play a USB thumb drive, we simply plug in and play. But some model of Acer computer require us to press the button on the thumb drive to activate it. The model I had (an Aspire model) set the press button same as the blicking light bulb. So (a) turn on computer, (b) plug in thumb drive receiver (c) press button on the drive, (d) press "contact" button on the mouse and keyboard. That works for me.
