the wireing off the brain is connected wrong, ok look at the wires and now disconnect your remote wire from the amp remote now connect the second blue wire to the remote wire going to the amp, now your sound should be right

This is a common problem for this model. It has a memory IC that must be replaced. This is a surface mounted IC that requires exceptional soldering skills to replace. I work at an authorized Pioneer service center and have repaired a good number of these for this exact problem. Unless you have great soldering skills it is not something that should be attempted to do yourself, it can cause permanent damage to the board if not done perfectly.
If you have the proper skills and soldering equipment I will be happy to give you the Pioneer part number so you can replace it yourself. If not, then you really should just take it to a service center and have a professional do this.

Same thing just happened to me contacted Vizio had me unplug the TV from the wall for about a minute and then replug and cut the TV back on and everything was fine. I have the television hooked into HDMI1.

Try using a different HDMI cable; one that is not simplay or 1.3.
The HDMI can control functions of the TV.
If you get a cheaper cable it may not do this.
