Start with tablet off. Hold power and volume up. You should boot into safe/repair mode. Try some of the options in there to get your tablet going again.

If you haven't done so already, try holding the power button down for a long time (30 seconds+) when you switch it on. If no success, try again but hold down the power button *and* the volume-up button when you switch on.
So it only says android and never loads to the point you see the screens you are used to?
Sounds like a failed update or something. Look up and perform a factory reset. It's usually a button holding down combo but I don't know what yours would be.
with the tasblet turned off...hold the power button and the + sign button and it will go to reboot screen and it should already be highlighted on the selection you want to choose so to pick that one press the power button to select
