Trick to replacing memory card door of evolt 510

Take the memory card out of the camera and insert it into a card reader connected to a computer. Right-click on the drive representing the card and select "Unprotect" or similar.

Most likely reason is that you have inserted the wrong type of memory card or put the right type in the wrong way around. If the camera is using the memory card alright, then it may be that the catch is broken, but I would have expected you to have called that "door does not stay closed".

Any camera should be turned OFF before installing or removing any battery, memory card, flash, or connecting cable.

The write protect is on the memory card, take the card out and unlock it, it will be at the side of the card like this .

I purchased a olympus evolt 510 - having problems taking picture in the dark. The camera will take 30 second to focus and sometimes will not take a picture at all. Also I find when I am in doors the camera will take a substantial amount of time to focus on an object this is specifically when the flash is in use. The flash seems to be adjusting flickering constantly. Seriously Annoying.

If you can be some assistance I would deeply appreciate it.
