Well... That's an interesting problem.

Try changing the wireless channel that your router is running on via the web interface in the router. See what happens when you try to connect the "Tilt" then.

If that doesn't work, then find out if the Tilt is running on 802.11b or 802.11g. Disconnect all wireless devices from the router and change the router's Wireless standard to either B or G ONLY. (Whichever the phone is.) Connect the Tilt again without any other devices connected to the router. See if it reboots again.

Those are basics for now. I've never tried connecting a phone to a router like that before. Otherwise I would definitely contact your provider and ask them about it. Given that the WRT54G is the most common consumer-level NAT router on the market, they are sure to be having issues with it where other customers are concerned.

Unless another wireless device you have is causing the issue. But that is what you are trying to pinpoint with the above procedures.

Give it a go and see what happens.

Wireless Router Causes XP PRO to Crash. I just purchase a Linksys WRT110 wireless router and installed it using the EasyLink setup cd. The install went OK but Windows XP PRO immediately crashed and...

Have you unisntalled all the Linksys sofftware through add/remove software. I had a similar problem with an IOGEAR Bluetooth transceiver, I did the setup from the CD, my laptop (Dell C640) blue screened each time. I uninstalled all the IOGEAR software and my laptop stopped blue screening. I never installed the software for a wireless router, I always use the WEB interface and my life is my simplier.

Dell Latitiude D 610 unable to connect to internet

When the network-cable from your computer is connected to the Cisco LinkSys router, click START -> RUN -> 'cmd'
and press ENTER.
Enter 'ipconfig' and press ENTER.
Look for a line like:
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.20.30.40

Open Internet Explorer, and enter: http://10.20.30.40
to connect to the web-server "inside" the Linksys router.
Enter the router's password (probably still 'admin'),
and you can then configure the "wireless" settings inside the router.

Once configured, you can disconnect the network-cable,
and start using the wireless-adapter _inside_ your computer.
