At the above site you will see that your scanner is only supported with Drivers up to XP, unfortunately.

as of the above site NO, No you cannot.

The best you MAY be able to do is to install in compatibility mode, for XP SP2, Run as and install as Administrator.

Just visit the following URL to download the VueScan 8.5 which will resolve Vista driver issues with a lot of flatbed scanners including CanoScan FB 630U.

This solution will cost you a bit (and given the low price of some new or reconditioned all-in-ones these days, you may not think it worth it), but the user interface is better, IMHO, than the CanoScan Toolbox and, by Jeezly, the thing just WORKS. After I installed it, I unplugged my FB630U, plugged it back in again, and BOOM!, Vista said that it had installed the driver. I was so tickled, I promptly bought the more expensive version of the software, and my good ol' CanoScan is scanning again. Check out VueScan from http://www.hamrick.com/. The unpurchased download adds watermarks, but you can at least try before you buy. Now why the hell can't Canon come up with a driver for its own scanner?
