call the company, or the manfactor or maybe look up the model on the internet they might have something for you.

An observation is that the large music suppliers like Musicians Friend, Sameday music, and Guitar Center do not stock the Acesonic brand. As a professional you need to cover yourself should you have equipment failure so a good starting point is to investigate what is available as rental... also they tend to choose robust stuff for rental...

Also, if you are packing a 500GB hard drive as media, it needs to be handled with kid gloves...

does the hard drive spin up? is there any ticking / grinding sounds from the hard drive? are you plugging it into a different usb port than you were before?

My suggestion is switching the file transfer protocol from MTP to MSC by accessing it under the Menu. Once you do this, when the Lyra is plugged into the computer, it will appear as an external hard drive. Format the hard drive and then drag and drop your songs and/or directories of songs onto the Lyra. This is what I do, as I never use Rhapsody, URGE, or even Windows Media Player or MusicMatch to upload songs onto my RD2763. Hope this helps!
