If the boot seal was properly seated onto the outer tub lip, then you should focus on the water seal (#39 in the graphic - it should have come with the mounting stem kit) as the source of the leak. Extra care must be used when installing this over the agitator drive shaft - some recommend adding a lubricant (Maytag center seal grease works well) to the shaft before sliding the mounting stem (and water seal) down onto the agitator shaft. Also, check the two sealing surfaces where the top of the boot seal (#40) meets the bottom of the mounting stem (#30). Look for cracks, chips or any bits of debris. Anything that keeps those two surfaces from meeting perfectly will cause a leak. These repairs should go fairly smoothly, but leaking water seals and chipped boot seals can cause problems.
Where does the water come out from? From under machine or where the drain hose hooks to the drain. If it is coming out the drain where the hose hooks the drain is most likely stopped up. If coming from underneath could be a hose or the pump leaking. I have seen something like a screw get caught and wear a hole in the tub. Check around the bottom of the tub if there is water leaking around the bottom of the tub could be the tub seal is bad. Hope this helps.
Hi If your washer leaks every time you run it, then check these:
Hot and cold water fill hoses - Check the hot
and cold water hoses from the household plumbing. If either hose is
leaking, tighten it or replace it, as appropriate.
Main tub seal - The main tub seal is located
between the transmission and the outer tub. It's the primary water seal in
the outer tub for the transmission-shaft entry point. If this seal leaks,
you can see the leak by opening up the machine's main access panel while
the machine is full of water with a small amount of detergent in it. The
leak appears at the underside of the outer tub, at or near the center.
This seal is difficult to replace.
Pump - If the pump leaks, you can probably
spot the leak when the tub is full of water. The pump has two or more
black rubber or plastic hoses attached to it and usually has a drive belt
that spins the pump. If the pump is leaking, you need to replace it.
Outer tub - Over time, the steel or plastic
outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. If this happens, you may have
to replace the entire outer tub--but that may not be an economical repair
to make.

Any part of the machine that has water contact is a possible source of the leak. Look for the highest (elevation) wet spot--that will be close. The tub has a couple of rubber connections--one on the side for water level sense and another for water drain on the bottom. If the tub itself has a rusted out spot, it can be repaired with epoxy cement (from inside the tub). It will be necessary to remove the inner tub assembly to get to the outer tub.
Sounds like you have a leak from the tub. Either the seal in the bottom of the tub or a hole in the tub. When you run it again try feeling around the bottom center of the tub for water or try to see if water is leaking any where out of tub. Clear water would be from the supply line , soapy water would be from tub or a hose coming out of tub.
probably rubber hose from tub to pump broke, access from back or bottom, (cabrios are open bottom) pump in rear. there is a recent bulletin about tub ring not channeling water from dispenser completely into tub
Sounds like a seal or drain hose is leaking or the clamp on a hose has vibrated loose.
Water leaking out the bottom of the machine when washing machine begins
agitation cycle. If the machine is turned off the water stops leaking
even with the tub full of water.
