I am working on preserving my family's recordings. They are on cassette tapes and I want to put them onto CD's and store with their pictures on a Hard Drive. My stereo will convert them but i can't find the directions on how to do it. I can't ask my children because this is their christmas gift this year.

They may have a downloadable manual. Good luck.

In all likelihood the Drive belts have snapped. Get them replaced.

Ok,
Look for a reset button at the back or may be at the front head of the cd changer. It is a very small 1mm hole.If you find it insert a paperclip in it,press and hold it for 1 min. This will reset the unit.If you still face the problem then just unplug all the cords of the changer for 1 hour and then plug it back in.

had similar problem, first things first.........clean lens with isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip. to do this, you will have to remove cover and likely the disc tray. worked for me.

When you unplug one speaker (from the back of the receiver) and the rec. works good, then the speaker that you unplugged is the bad one, or the wire that is hooked up to that speaker is bad. Repair the speaker or the wire.

Just pull the arm back a little bit, the turntable should then start.
