I have a magnavox tv model # 27MY6005D/37. Where can I get an owners manual and I have a line two inches on top like the tv bottom is on the top. How can I adjust that? Thank you

According to the model# you have a 27 inch TV so this would mean you have a bad capacitor in the vertical circuit 100uf 35v and you may need to replace vertical IC as well.Call Mats for parts 1-800-628-1118 for owners manual try Encompass Parts 1-800-638-3328.Somtimes if picture pops back to normal then resolder Vertical IC but if thats not happening, replace parts.

I have the same model 37MF321D/37 and the Blinking Light

I fixed it by replacing the two capacitors with 3300uf 25v instead of Magnavox's 3300uf 10v and a power swith that I ordered from http://www.encompassparts.com/. Also I did have a power supply put in from a repair place that cost $160.00. It is working perfect now and no blinking light.

Black vertical bar about 4 and a half inches wide down center of screen

hi...
It sounds like an Intergrated Circuit (IC) has fried.
Your best bet in this situation is to contact ur tv service operator and let them recommend an authorized service center in your area....

Control of vertical TV image projected on the screen

You can try looking for 2 things

1. A button on your remote that says either: ARC, Ratio, 16:9, 4:3.... Some remotes have a picture of a square with arrows pointing out towards each corner..... I'm unfamiliar with this set, but it sounds like a widescreen, so give it a go

Mitsubishi VS-5071 rear projection turns on, has audio but no video

That is a VZ3 chassis, similar to Mitsubishi models Ts-4545, Ts-5045, Ts-5545, Vs-4543, Vs-4544, Vs-5043, Vs-5044, Vs-5047, Vs-6043, Vs-6047 and has common failures in the vertical circuit, specifically vert Ic401 which is a La7845 which is usually caused by defective C402 100uf 50v and/or open 1.2 ohm 2 watt R510 next to FBT.
If not that check C268 off Q215 on signal board 22mf/50v and Ic200 on signal module Cxa2025s. However the vertical failure is more likely.
