there's nothing to do with your mobile. there problem in your sim, just call the customer care and inquire whats the problem..

check imei number or check sim also

I have come across this before (in South Africa) and the sim had in fact been 'deleted' either due to lack of use or somesuch. In this case the sim had to be replaced.

Please check with your service provider to help you out with a solution. Check your SIM with another phone,if this wont register change the SIM or consult the operator.
If the SIM works then the phone must be checked for fault to transreceive.

It seems your razr is operator locked. You will need to take it to a phone shop and have it unblocked or visit this site

is it an unlocked phone? The "Unregistered SIM" message means that you're using a SIM card for which this phone is not intended. You will need to have the phone unlocked and it should work.

If it is a new fone then Phones are not shipped activated. You should look in the box for activation instructions. Read and follow them.
is that a prepaid sim then probably the sim has been deactivated...

If the phone is saying unregistered sim It basically means that the sim card has either not been activated at all or has not been activated to be used with that handset... Simply contact your carrier and they should be able to asess the situation over the phone
