I have a ILO 42in model number LCT42HA36 and sometimes it won't turn on. When I first plug it in the red lighr comes on, when I push the standby button the green light come on. The problem is, sometimes I get a picture and sometimes I don't. Sometimes for a couple of weeks I can have a picture and then sometimes for a couple of weeks the picture won't come on.

i had my power supply blow on mine within the first year took it in because i had extended warranty and they fixed it, only problem was finding a dealer in my area to fix it, then took over a week, because of customer support issues

SOURCE: the red standby light flashes and when the power

One of the boards (module) has a short on it, and or the power supply itself is failing.
The service center will find the fault using the process if elimination. They will replace the bad boards or modules as required to get the set working again.
