I got the same problem, TV stuck on one channel, what I did was, I remove the cable (fron the back) for a minute and then reconnect, work perfect, well, better than try to return the bloody thing.
Good look with your.

Same thing happened on my Samsung 32". i also removed the cable from the back. it seemed to be getting stuck on one channel in particular (which I don't watch), so what I did was go into the channel menu and DELETE the channel. Now, when I am clicking on the remote, it will bypass the particular channel.

I think the problem actually has to do with the microprocessor for the TV crashing when it is buffering too many channel input commands.

More info on my repair I believe there some type of signal in the new digital program for the next year that the TV simple don't read right and shout down the TV or get stuck, why y believe that simple because with air antenna there is no problem at all, but if I connect cable and I do the automatic set-up It will turn of or get stuck in the other hand if I do the look (of Channel's) manually I will have no problem till' you find a specific channel that it turn the TV of specifically on the 90" and up.(all this if you don't use a cable box)

SOURCE: which part number is the control board for the iLO HD2600 ?

I currently in the midst of a complaint I filed with the BBB on this company. I am hoping that this may actually lead to a satisfactory result but I will have to wait and see. I encourage others to file against this company as well. I do not understand how a company can get away with such a poor quality product and even poorer customer service.

Changing channels

A common issue with this model is the control key board (the key input board that has the buttons on the cabinet of the TV).

This board can cause a lot of issue ,from changing channels by itself,to intermittent shut off, also sources cannot be switched or they switch by themselves.

The less common issues would be the remote eye or the main board.

If you give the full model number and the product code from your TV, I can give you the part numbers.

My samsung lcd tv is lock on tv channels only

Check function buttons. One may be stuck. Disconnect the function switches from the switch board. If you can change inputs with the remote then replace switch board or switches. if not then replace the main board.

Try the keys on the set I would think there is a menu key there on the set to help get you out of favorite channels. Universal remotes don't always work as thought should be and usually onthe the devices remote will access all functions. Is our remote dead or busted? Try opening it up look for bad solder on the circuit board clean the switch contacts on the the board it may just fix it

TV Changing Channels on It's Own

Are you changing channels with the remote? Try taking the battery out of the remote, its buttons might just be getting stuck? If, when changing the channel by hand, it persists, then it is an electrical problem, and you should contact LG to see about getting your unit replaced.

Channel changes automatically

There are a few things that can cause this. #1 most often cause is either something spilled on the channel button or something wrong with the bezel where the buttons are located causing the button to be pressed all the time. Check the buttons on the tv and make sure none of them are stuck. #2 is a bad button (switch). Replace the switch or the control board. #3 is a short on the wiring harness going from the switch to the mian board. Maybe it's squished against the frame somewhere. #4 would be a bad main board. You will likely have to take this unit to a service centre to have it looked at.
