F 51 code

Washer stopped with 17 minutes left during rinse and drain cycle. Blinking f51 code, but I think the machine may have been loaded with an unbalanced portion of wet towels. I balanced the clothes, unplugged the machine for a half hour and tried another cycle. Went about a minute and then the beeping and flashing f code. Any suggestions?

How di I stop the F:51 from flashing where the time left for a load to be completed stopping the load in the washer to wash, rinse and drain?

If its a Whirlpool machine, F51 has something to do with whats called a rotor position sensor, It tells the machine that the bowl is or isn't turning. Check and make sure the bowl hasn't jammed up.

After working well for six months, my washer now expels water at random points during the wash and rinse cycles.

Check inside the fill hose for debris. There is a screen designed to block debris from getting inside the machine valve. If the screen builds up with debris the water slows down. Sounds like the water is filling too slow. Also the unit and/or the load may not be balanced causing it to stop and drain out. If it's okay then see what lights are blinking when these events occur and post here.

Rinse and spin cycle keeps repeating at 11 minute time to 17 minute time and won't stop

Sounds like your washer does not empty enough water for the spinning to stop. Have you check that the filter(s) are not clogged?

F51 error

Hello, the F51 code is a motor rotor position sensor failure. It's best to call in the warranty service as there is a bunch of tests that need to be run to determine if it's the sensor or control board. If the tech wasn't any help, contact the store for a replacement.

Thanks

Machine keeps flashing F-51

This happened to me, everytime I washed clothes it lite up F51 and wouldn't go through the cycle to drain. I had to manually put the machine on drain and spin to get the water out.

After three times of having the repair man come I called Whirlpool and said I had a lemon and it couldn't be fixed and the machine was replaced. They are allowed to try three times to repair the machine for the same problem, like it lighting up F51 and then they have to replace the machine as a lemon while the machine is still under warranty.

I hope this was of help. The delivery man said that the machines are bounced around so much during transit that it's no wonder they have problems.

Shutting down on rinse cycle

Hi this could means that you may need to replace the washing machine bearings. Once the bearings are bad, the motor overheats and it will automatically shut down after the first rinse.
