How to find the program for taking pictures from my pc in acer aspire 7720-6182???

There should be a program that came with the laptop, such as livecam, lifecam or quickcam (may be called something else). When using this program there should be a button on the programs main screen that is called Snapshot, or picture. Some cameras will only take pictures with specific software.

but are all very similar

please try this please go to the start key
which is in the very bottom left hand side of your screen

start
all programs
acer
acer erecovery management
on the left hit the restore
contents
reinstall drivers/applications
reinstall the webcam driver

then restart the laptop

the acer crystal eye webcam should be there on the right
if you click on it it should then open the camera to allow you to take pictures

click the start menu button, then click programs, look for a program on your computer called "AcerCrystal Eye Webcam" this is the software used to take pictures and video with the webcam on your Aspire One. Other programs such as Skype, Yahoo Messenger, and websites like Facebook can automatically detect your webcam and let you use it for things like video chat, and taking profile pictures.

There should be a program in the start/programs menu called acer crystaleye, the software to take pictures with the webcam is in there. (if you are running vista that came with the laptop).

go to all programs and tipe in webcam hipn enter it will bring it up. follow instructions that come up on right hand side

to take video you will probably need another peice of software (probably included). See if you have any movie moaker programs on your computer or something along those lines.

there tree kinds of software program of camera acer 4315, chose the logitec program if you have driver..or donwload...

Use the Vista Search box and type in - Acer Crystal Eye

hey check them if the pics u shoot are in C:\Users\username\Pictures then it is ok simply it is a bug of the pic capturing program of acer u can easily update it from this link

but if the pics are not there then the solution is also the same as above
