I have a Windows computer with all my mp3 files on it, and an iPhone 5C, I want to use those (WINDOWS) mp3 files on the iPhone. I understand you must ONLY DOWNLOAD MUSIC from iTunes to play anything on the iPhone. I have already bought and paid for my existing music, Jobs wants me to buy it AGAIN, but from HIM! Steve Jobs is a extremely greedy, this way! Is there a way to convert my music files to bypass iTunes?

You don't need to buy the songs again, you can just import them onto iTunes and when you connect your iPhone 5C you can synchronize the songs to your phone.

SOURCE: mini iphone ka08. not recognized by itunes or windows explorer

iTunes is specific for Apple related (and protected) music/players (iPhone, iPod, etc.). The Ka08 reads any MP3 file. To copy files to your phone, connect your phone via usb to pc, open file explorer, locate the mp3 files you want on your phone, copy, locate and open your phone (usualy the last 2 (two) 'removable disk') (the first one is usualy the memory card and the second one the internal memory) (use of memory card is strongly recommended), if you haven't done already i recommend you create (on the memory card) a folder called 'MP3', and paste your MP3 files there.

Sync iTunes M4P Music to Non-Apple Players like Walkman, Windows phone 7, Droid,...

Quoted from: Convert m4p to mp3

The Apple iTunes Music Store sells AAC, M4A, M4B, M4P songs and Audible audio book online, accounting for more than 80% of worldwide online digital music sales. The AAC, M4B and M4P songs sold on iTunes Music Store are encrypted with Digital Rights Management measures, while M4A is for the unprotected content.
So, if you want to listen to M4P music with other mp3 players such as Sony walkman, Zune(HD), PSP(go), Creative Zen, Sansa Fuze, Android phone(Nexus one, Droid(X/2)), HTC Phone(HTC EVO/Desire/HD2/HD7) and play itune music on xbox 360, PS3, windows media player, window movie maker or share them with your friends, you have to convert M4P to an open format like MP3.
In this text, i will share two methods to convert M4P to MP3
Method1: Burning and re-import. (M4P->CD-> MP3)
1. Burn the the M4P's onto a CD.
2. When it has finished burning, enter that CD into your computer again.
3. Click on "Audio CD" under "source" on the left side of your screen in itunes.
4. Then right click on the track you want to convert to an MP3.
5. Select "convert to MP3"
6. Once it has finished converting, copy that file to somewhere else on your computer (ex. C/Documents and Settings/User/My Documents/My Music)
7. Copy it again from where you just pasted it, and paste it into your MP3 player. (this is at least how to do it for my Nomad Jukebox).
Method2: Convert M4P to MP3 derectly with Daniusoft DRM Converter
Daniusoft DRM Converter is an easy M4P music Converter that can convert M4P to MP3 with one step and the speed is up to 27x. It also can convert protected iTunes videos, movies M4V to MP3, WMA on Windows PC.
Simple Steps for converting M4P to MP3 with Daniusoft DRM Converter:
digital-media-converter-pro.jpg

Step 1: Load DRM M4P files
Click "Add" to load DRM AAC files, you are allowed to import all supported format music files:M4P,AAC, M4B, M4A, WMA, WAV, MP3, OGG, MKA, AA, AAX, etc.

Step 2: Setting output formats
Click "drop-download" list at the bottom to select output format for your M4P files. You may customize the output settings for AAC files. Choose an output format from "Convert to". Click the "Settings" button for detailed settings of "Bit Rate, Sample Rate, Encoder, Channel "to make your output with high quality.

Step 3: Convert DRM M4P to MP3
Once you've finished all the settings, click "Start" button to beginning your conversion. After conversion, you can click the "Find Target" button to open the output folder and find the converted files.
Note: You can drag and drop all your music files to M4P to MP3 converter at a time, then do something else till it is finished.
Now you can own the music forever and play it on your mp3 players such as Sony walkman, Zune(HD), PSP(go), Creative Zen, Sansa Fuze, Android phone(Nexus one, Droid(X/2)), HTC Phone(HTC EVO/Desire/HD2/HD7) as your will.

How to convert m4p music to mp3

Convert m4p to mp3,itunes to windows media, convert itunes music

The M4P file type is primarily associated with 'Protected AAC File' by Apple Inc. AAC is the audio layer from the follow-on format to MP3. The .M4P extension is AAC purchased from Apple's Music Store (iTune) and is protected by a Digital Rights Management scheme.

Most songs sold through the iTunes Store are encoded using FairPlay-encrypted 128 kbits/s AAC streams in an MP4 wrapper, using M4P extension. Apple has maintained tight control of its FairPlay encryption. Other online music stores cannot sell music files encoded with FairPlay. This means that consumers who want to listen to songs downloaded from the iTunes Store must either have an iPod or convert the files to an open format. There are two ways to convert M4P music to MP3. One way is to use itunes for sophisticated computer user, another way is to use third party program for beginner, which is much easier.

Part one: Using itunes to converting M4p music

Step 1: Run iTunes and set burner options firstly. You can choose

Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Burning menu and then select your CD burner.

Note: If you don't have a physical burner, you may use a virtual burner program, NoteBurner. After you install it, you can choose NoteBurner Virtual CD-RW as what you do in the first step.

Step 2: Create a new playlist in iTunes and add all m4p files you want to convert to this new list.

Note: If you use NoteBurner, you need to select the output format in NoteBurner. After you click Settings button, you can set the output as MP3, WAV and WMA.

Step 3: Click Burn Disc button in iTunes to starting the burning. If you use NoteBurner, this is the final step since the program can rip back the burned music automatically. The output folder will be open automatically after all music finishes encoding.

Note: If you burn the m4p files on real CD, you need to rip the music back in iTunes. Open iTunes Edit>Preferences>Advanced menu and click small Importing tab inside the Advanced tab to choose "WAV encoder" or "AIFF Encoder" in the "Import Using" dropdown. In the left-hand panel under "Devices", select the CD that you burned

Step 4: In the main window opposite, deselect any CD track(s) you do not want to convert. Right-click or control-click over them, and choose the "convert to AIFF" or "convert to WAV" option.

Step 5: After the conversion, you may find the converted file at C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music

Part two: Using third party program to convert M4p music

Comparing to the previous method, the following is more simple and easier, you can finish the job with just several clicks.

Step 1: Free download M4P Converter, install and run it.

Step 2: Clicking "Add" or directly drag-drop protected M4P files. Batch M4P to MP3 conversion supported.

Step 3: In the "Setting" button, choose MP3 format (*.mp3), you can also custom the music.

Step 4: Click the "Start" button to start converting M4P to MP3. After successful converting M4P to MP3, the result shall be stored on the "Output path" folder. Then you can use them for playing without any limitation.

Downloaded music from itunes into computer and then to mp3 player but music when into mp3 player browser and nothing happens when I open the file

The ITunes maybe be in MP4 file format.
MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.
You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable.
For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track.

How to transfer windows media player muisc to iTunes

You may have some music on Windows Media Player, and you want to add them into iTunes library for your new iPod or iPhone. Or you may want to move your iTunes bought music to Windows Media Player for portable devices such as Zen, Zune, Phone, Sansa, Archos, MP3/MP4 Player, etc. It’s easy to do that. And this guide will show the steps to do the job.

Part1. Transfer Windows Media Player music to iTunes

Step1. Open iTunes and select the File -- Add Folder to Library menu.

Step2. Browse to your Windows Media Player music folder. iTunes will ask you where your songs are located, which by default will be in your My Music folder on Windows XP, or in your Music folder on Vista.

Step3. Convert Windows Media Player songs to AAC format (.m4a). If you have files in WMA format, you will be prompted to convert those WMA files to AAC. This is a necessary step if you want those tracks available to play on your iPod or iPhone. If you have a large music library in WMA format, converting WMA to AAC may take a long time. Plan to do this at a time when you can leave your computer on and walk away to do something else for awhile. You can also import your WMA files as MP3 instead, which also allows them to work with your iPod, but makes them more portable if you buy something else in the future.

iTunes doesn't modify your original music files from Windows Media Player. It leaves those songs in their original location and makes copies in your iTunes music folder.

Part2. Transfer iTunes music to Windows Media Player

Because iTunes music has DRM protection, you can't easily import the music into Windows Media Player by drag and drop. There are two ways to transfer protected music from iTunes to Windows Media Player.

Method1. You can use iTunes to burn the music to a blank CD at first, then use Windows Media Player to rip the music CD, the DRM protection will be remove during the ripping process, then you can rip the CD into WMP library. This way is good for tranferring a few music. For large mount of music, it would take a really long time to transfer music.

Method2. If you don't have blank CD disk or you have many iTunes music need to transferred to windows media player. You can use DRM Media Converter. It can legally convert the protected iTunes music to non-protected MP3 music, then you can easily drag and drop the MP3 music into Windows Media Player.

Step1. Download and install the DRM Media Converter , the file size is about 7 MB. I have scaned it with Norton Virus protector and AVG spayware protector, it's safe without any warning.

Step2. Run the DRM Media Converter, Click Add to import iTunes music, which by default will be in My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music .Or you can run iTunes, click Edit -- Advanced Tab, there you will see where your iTunes media folder location.

Step3. Set the output audio format as "MP3 - MPEG Layer-3 Audio (*.mp3)"

Step4. Click Start to run the conversion, it will take a little bit time to finish the job, then click Browse to located your converted mp3 files, drag them into Windows Media Player, done.
