Check all the connections on the back of the set to make sure they are properly connected. Make sure that the 'Input' selector is set to the correct setting - you will need to consult your owner manual. This happens with my Mom's TV when she leaves the satellite channel switched on and the box crashes. The AV setting kicks the TV into the satellite feed. Also happens if it is left on the DVR. Generally the first Input is correct or the input marked HDMI. If you have a media centre PC system connected, you may need to reboot that.
Sounds like the problem could be in the power supply of the TV. Have a technican check for defective capacitors if you're not equipped to do the job yourself.
you may have to set the input value on the bravia for optical on the input from the cable box. sometimes there is more than one way for a particular input to receive an audio signal, you may have rca(red and white), a black or orange rca type for digital, and then the optical. i would suspect you have to tell the bravia how the sound is inputed into the bravia. also , just a thought.... on the cable box there should be a volume control on the front of the box........ make sure the cable box volume is ALL the way up (it is the preamp volume).
Make sure that your tv is on the av setting(or hdmi what ever the input is) also make sure the input is working by testing it with another device (dvd player, etc) If you are getting snowy picture you could be on the analogue tv channel. Good luck.
Your display needs to be reset, Turn the ps3 off. Then turn the ps3 back on but continue to press the power button until you hear the beeps then it should work fine :)
Ours is crapping out just like yours. Picture goes out, "black and white squiggles" appear in the top left of the screen then TV input appears, then it either repeats or gives me my picture back. This happens with both the HDMI slots (tested all 3) and both Component slots. Seems like the bulb or a circuit board on the TV is faulty. What a piece of ****, never spending another dime on LG products. I did get it to come back by hitting the back of the TV with a good slap, but it gets really annoying.
Mine was the same, except i also could not access HD Components. Unfortunately i had to get some one in, as the circuit board at the back of the tv was burnt out.You might have to get a technician in to service and replace the burnt circuit board.
