So I was watching the tv then it flashed and went of fault code is 2 flashes followed by 4 flashes any help would be much appreciated

A 2.2 is a Short protect this could be a convergence problem. First check Fuses F9A04 and 05 if these are open then it's the convergence board

caused by bad convergence ICs and/or 2 Pico fuses (F9A05 and F9A04). You’ll

That is no problem found---if set was unplugged it clears all errors--you have to plug in, try to turn on and if power light comes on and then goes off do the self check again. A model number might be helpful here.
How to Program
Remotes With SET Button
1. Choose and press a device key i.e TV. LED will flash once.
2. Press "SET" Hold until the LED Lights up.
3. Enter the 4-digit Device code (refer code list).
4. The LED will flash once as each number is programmed at the end of the 4 digit the LED will turn off immediately if correct. If the LED flashes then something went wrong in the process. If the first code does not work then repeat the process with the next.
5. Important - Some brands use other manufacturers to make their devices if the codes available do not work the try the MAGIC search function.

MAGIC SEARCH FUNCTION
1. The magic search function enables you to scroll through the entire code list one by one by pushing the on/off button. Each time you push the on/off button the remote automatically switches to the next code in the list and sends a signal to the device you have chosen.
2. Choose and press a device key i.e TV. LED will flash once.
3. Press and hold the SET button or if no SET button then hold BOTH the CHANNEL UP AND VOLUME DOWN button until the LED Lights up.
4. Enter the 4-digit Device code (refer MAGIC list) i.e TV is 0001.
5. The LED will flash once as each number is programmed at the end of the 4 digit the LED will turn off immediately if correct. If the LED flashes then something went wrong in the process.
6. Start scrolling by pushing the ON/OFF button as soon as your TV or Chosen device turns OFF lock the code in by pushing the DEVICE key again.
