Drive write protected

Short answer is you can't. Its encrypted. If you could bypass the PW, it would not be very useful for protection. you may be able to format and use it as new, but not access the content on it currently at all.

You failed to mention what operating systems are involved. What does the work computer use as an operating system. The file system format of the USB may be say as an example ntfs windows while as a hypothetical the work computer could be apple o/s using a different file system or even maybe a unix system. You may need to reformat the usb stick to be the format file system used by the work computer. Also there could be a policy in place to prevent usb sticks working on work computers to protect intellectual property or to protect against virus transferance.

The problem isn't with write protection. The file system has become corrupt and unreadable, or at least a section of it. If you can't reformat it then it's likely dying or dead. At least you should be able to recover some of your data however...

to recover your 8gb usb flash drive need to formating just click YES quick format only select.then if you need data of usb need software recovery files.

No there is no option for you other than throwing it. It has been spoiled and you need to replace your pen drive. Go buy a new one.

connect it to PC then... go to My Computer icon on desk top >> right click >> manage >> Disk management >> select ur USB Flash Drive/pen drive >> right click >>format ....ok......

or
use any low level formatting software....
