Yahoo messenger program

The problem is that the yahoo messenger is not started at startup. You can do the following.

1. Open yahoo messenger from start-> all programs -> yahoo messenger.
2. In the sign In page (initial page) check both the boxes "remember my id & password" and "Sign in automatically"
3. Type in user id and password and login
4. From "messenger" menu item click "preferences". A dialog box will popup. Click "general" in the left hand side. In the right hand side there will be a check box "Automatically start yahoo messenger" under "when I start up my computer".
5. Click ok.

This will solve the problem.

If you are having problems on your yahoo messenger, why dont you just remove it and install it again.
To remove yahoo messenger: - go to control panel - select add/remove programs for XP / programs and features for Vista and Win 7 - select yahoo messenger and uninstall it

Please try uninstalling Yahoo Messenger and installing it or another instant messaging program. This usually occurs because the program is behaving too slowly and your computer is trying to catch up. Reinstalling could fix this problem, or your PC may just be getting very slow.

After waiting awhile, you should have a list of every program installed on your PC. Find Yahoo Messenger on this list and choose Uninstall. After the program is uninstalled, restart your PC.
You may want to install a program other than Yahoo Messenger. It sounds like your computer could just not be able to run Yahoo Messenger very well. If you wish, install Miranda IM from this link: http://miranda.googlecode.com/files/miranda-im-v0.9.22-unicode.exe. You'll still be able to contact all friends using Yahoo Messenger, but it will be a faster, simpler program. Or, if you'd prefer to keep using Yahoo Messenger, download it again at this page: http://messenger.yahoo.com/download/.

On your windows, click Start.
Select All Programs.
Select Yahoo messenger
Click Yahoo Messenger program icon. Yahoo messenger will be displayed. If it succesfully displayed then make a shortcut for that program icon on your desktop. double click it every time you want to use it.

If the program icons did not reponse too, then I suggest you uninstall Yahoo messenger and download different versions.

You can create a new account in Yahoo Messenger by creating a new Yahoo Mail Account.

If you have existing Yahoo Messenger program in your PC, sign in using your new Yahoo Mail Account ID and Password.

You can sign up to Yahoo Messenger using your Yahoo email address and your Yahoo mail password. You can also check your email for confirmation with your yahoo messenger account.

Then, run the software to install.

Once installed, double click to run..
Sign in using your new Yahoo mail user id and password.

Easiest way to resolve a problem with messenger is to uninstall it then reinstall the program.

To uninstall go to Start - Control Panel - Programs. Find Yahoo messenger in the list and uninstall it.

For the latest version of Yahoo messenger go to this link http://messenger.yahoo.com/download

Download and reinstall the program following the onscreen instructions.

try removing the program first from the add or remove programs (if you are using xp) if you are using vista (go to programs and features). after doing so, restart the computer go to yahoo.com and download the yahoo messenger program.

Normal 0 Also send this to your family and friends so they have their computer setup properly.
Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.
Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://www.soft32.com/download_30.html ) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.
