The problem is called the Red Ring of Death (RROD). It is the biggest xbox 360 fault. If it won't work at all try sending it to Microsoft. Don't try to fix it yourself by tearing it apart. If you try anything other than sending it in, it could get your warranty voided.

If you send it in to Microsoft it should take about 4-6 weeks to get it back. But everything is free. The warranty lasts 3 years. If you have recently bought it or bought it in the last 3 years send it in.

Hope it all works. Visit www.xbox.com/support, or call them at
1-800-4MY-XBOX (1-800-469-9269)

Send it in and get it fixed and you'll be playing in no time.

SOURCE: Help with xbox 360

try pressing and holding the bluetooth button on your 360 while doing this turn your xbox on and keep holding until it boots completely even if it does not make it to the boot screen just keep holding it until you think the time would have passed for it to boot up. power off your xbox. wait about 5 minutes and then reboot believe me this little method fixes alot of the xbox problems so it makes me wonder if some of the error codes are really correct. one more thing i strongly recommend the use of a cooling device for the 360 which ever one you choose
