SOURCE: kodak dc290 digital camera keeps giving formatting failed error

Try cleaning the contacts on the memory card(usually sraping them lightly with a knife helps with contact) and if that doesn't work try formatting the card in your computer.

SOURCE: kodak digital camera z990 lens obstructed remove lens cap

It seems that many people think that sending a camera back to the manufacturer is helpful. Most of us want help to fix it ourselves. If it is under warranty most know enough to send it back. If it is out of warranty the repair cost for most problems is more then it cost to replace it.

Just bought a kodak pixpro digital camera fz43 and it says memory full do i have to buy a sd card to get that off and if so how much do they cost

If the camera manual states it takes an SD card, then that is what you want. Be careful and do not get an SDHC card if the camera cannot utilise it - your camera manual should help with this.

Kodak pixpro az251 - no matter what I push the screen flashes "write protect!" What's this mean?

This probably refers to the SD card. On an SD card there is a switch at the side which can be moved to protect the card contents (locked or write protect) or permit writing to the card (unlocked). Just move this to the unlocked position.

Why does my Kodak pixpro fz41 sometimes a round orange light appears before I take the flash picture. Other times it doesn't do it.

This sometimes indicates that the exposure is correct for the distance of the subject. Remember that the flash on your camera is really only effective up to 3 - 4 meters
