H57h am2 missing driver for Ethernet

There is a diagram on the motherboard here.

CPUs do not have drivers. They do not contain LAN, Audio, or Video components. These are part of the motherboard they are installed upon. You need to provide the
motherboard manufacturer, model number, and revision number, along with the specific Operating System you are running. We can then help you find the driver(s) you need.

did you unplug the computer when you had taken out the battery?or try to reflash the bios with the old ver. ok let me know jim

Need to know your motherboard in order to get ethernet drivers.

If you still have the box, check for the model number. If not you may have to do a pretty lengthy search on the motherboard itself to find the model number.

Then on another PC/Laptop/Phone search in google the model number followed by "ethernet driver".

Flashed BIOS& on reboot , no display no keyboard light . System power LEDs are on . ANy help would be highly appreciated

I have been looking for the same thing. So far the closest I have come to any detail may be this link here. It is a link to a pdf file showing chapter 6 of a guide and includes the field replacable parts I am pretty sure this is the H57H-AM2. This came up when I googled and the picture looks just like the motherboard in my Ace Aspire M3910.

H57H-AM2 v2 Motherboard in a Gateway DX4840 wire connections for Front Panel are shown here in Photo. I took them before I disconnected mine so it works.

This board is showing as being manufactured for HP machine Istar 2380. if it is, you can find the drivers on this page under downloads / chipset /ethernet xp drivers

The computer has an ethernet adapter builtin, in the control panel disable the ethernet connection Device=NVIDIA nForce 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and then make sure the drivers for the usb cable modem are installed.
