The power supply will need to be changed. The capacitors inside the power supply are not sending the correct amount of power to tv and will need to be changed.

    You will have to purchase a repair manual. Many sites have them. You cannot repair it without the manual. But with the manual, you can do anything.

Mitsubishi Projection TV Model #VS-50603 will not turn on.

The TV is going into a "protect mode", the micro-processor has sensed a circuitry problem and has shut the set down so that no furhter damage can happen, you will need to have the TV serviced by a Mitsubishi tech. Good luck !

Mitsubishi VS-50609 won't turn on

What a great tv this is Mitsubishi did a fine job making this one, but......only an authorized mitsubishi servicer should repair it. This set records diagnostic led codes that the technician receives to help determine where the problem might be, not the problem, but in which circuit it might be. The one thing to try is, unplug the tv , let it set for a minute, plug it back in , turn it on and hope it reset the micro. Next , call for mits. service.

I have a Mitsubishi VS-50603 that will not turn on.

Good Day, jessayala;
It sounds like you may have Ethylene Glycol on the boards, leakage from the TV's CRT's. The Glycol is a fluid that help's the tube cool. If you are not handy, very, very handy, I would call an Authorized Service Center to come out and give you an estimate before the repair is performed.

Good Luck, big IRISH......PS..... If can handle your self ..... come back here.

Need help repairing Mitsubishi VS 4541 rear projection TV

This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems, to activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source
