What solution are you seeking? They are not recognized by the printer and there is nothing you can do about it. You can try to get a refund (reimbursement) from the seller on the account of false compatibility claim.

SOURCE: HP C3150 Cartridge stuck

  1. Press the Power button (c01575386.gif ) to turn the product on, if it is not already on.
  2. Open the cartridge door. The carriage might try to move into the access area at the right. Allow it to move to that position.
  3. Wait until the carriage is idle and silent.
  4. Without turning off the product, disconnect the power cord from the back of the product. WARNING: You will move parts by hand in the following steps. You must disconnect the power cord to eliminate the risk of an electrical shock and to reset the paper-feed mechanism.
  5. Looking in through either the cartridge door or the output tray, make sure the cartridges have not come loose in the carriage. Push each cartridge inward to securely lock them in place.
  6. Check for and remove any obstructions under or around the carriage that might prevent it from moving.
  7. Make sure the carriage can move freely across the width of the product by firmly pushing the carriage to the left, and then to the right.
  8. Close the cartridge door.
  9. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
  10. Press the Power button (c01575386.gif ) to turn on the product.
  11. Allow the product to warm up, and then try the print job again.
  12. Check the cartridges for damage: NOTE: The product must be on or it will not release the cartridges.
  13. Wait until the carriage is idle and silent, and then lightly press down on a cartridge to release it. Pull the cartridge toward you out of its slot.
    • The tri-color cartridge is on the left.
    • The black cartridge is on the right.
  14. Check the cartridges for damage, and then replace any damaged cartridges. Check for obstructions under and around the carriage. CAUTION: Do not touch the copper-colored contacts or ink nozzles. Touching these parts can result in clogs, ink failure, and bad electrical connections.
  15. Follow these instructions to install the cartridges correctly.
    1. If you are installing a new cartridge, remove the cartridge from the packaging, and then remove the pink-protective tape.
    2. Hold the cartridge by its sides, with the contacts facing into the carriage.
    3. Slide the cartridge at a slight upward angle into the empty slot, and then gently push it until it snaps into place.
      • To install a tri-color cartridge, insert it into the left slot.
      • To install a black cartridge, insert it into the right slot. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
        Thanks, Joe

You need to go into printer options in the Windows control panel. Chose properties, and find the option to install a new cartridge. Follow the onscreen instructions.

SOURCE: non hp suply installed-error message for hp 2420

Hi there maximum time we found it is a the head problem. The print head is what the cartridges sit in inside of the printer. For resolve the problem please follow these.

Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over. Some how if its not come then Unplug the printer & Manually slide the carriage.
Now Remove the ink cartridges from the print head & Use wet warm cotton swab or use alcohol to thoroughly clean the print head.
Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab. After finished it make the head dry then fix it back. Now Try to print something now

If that does not work then follow the next step.

Remove the printer data cable & restart the PC & printer. Then fit back the data cable & turn on the printer. Hope that's start working , if no luck then Uninstall the printer driver & restart the PC & Printer both again. Now install the driver of the printer and connect it with PC ,Turn on printer & go for a test print from the printer preference. Thanks & waiting for your reply.

Hp laser jet 1018 giving error that front door is open or toner cartridge is missing

If you are using a non genuine HP cartridge, it is very likely it is defective and can not read the chip on the cartridge. Replace the toner with a Genuine HP cartridge.

Printer has shown error 10.00.00 Supply Memory Error

Please make sure to ask a specific question.

The 10.00.00 Supply Memory Error is given when the printer can not read the information on your ink cartridges. This can be common when using non-genuine ink cartridges (non-HP).

Remove and reinsert your ink cartridges. If that doesn't work, try pressing the green button to accept the error and continue.

PROBLEMS REPLACING BLACK (21) Ink Cartridge

If the ink cartridge is one that is supported for your pritner, then it might be a problem cartridge. Cartridges have a shelf life. There's no telling how long it has been sitting on a shelf, in the store or in a warehouse, before you bought it. Ink is one item I feel that you get a fresher product, if you buy it online. I think online stores have a much larger turnover, because they service the whole country, instead of just a local community. An online store will sell more in one day, than your local Office Depot will in six months, therefore ordering more often, and keeping fresher ink in stock.

Try this site for ink. http://private.abacus24-7.com/home.aspx?

How to install hp 21 cartridge into dell 926 printer

Use only genuine cartridges with your printer. Printers these days have a built in sensor that can sense non compatible/generic/refilled cartridges and wont install them. It will only cause you more problems in the long run if you use a generic cartridges.

Best bet is to buy genuine inks..

Black ink cartridge ran out. i replaced it with an identical one and the printer keeps saying incorrect colour cartridge installed. the colour cartridge was already in and working

Either:
  • You have bought the wrong cartridge
  • The cartridge is not a genuine one and it is faulty(about 30% of some non branded carts are faulty)
  • The cartridge is a genuine one and is faulty (about 1% of genuine carts are faulty)
  • The cartridge cradle is faulty and can not read the cartridge chip properly.
i suggest you by another (genuine) cartridge and try it. If it works, you know the other "new" cartridge is faulty and can return if for a refund.
